Quivvi (“Quivvi,” “we,” “us”) is operated by Stormflows LLC. This policy explains what data we collect when you use quivvi.app and play.quivvi.app (together, the “Service”), why we collect it, and how you can reach us about it.

Information we collect

Quiz content. Questions, answers, and other content you enter when creating a quiz.
Email address. If you ask us to email you a quiz join link, or sign up to be notified about the quiz library.
Payment information. If you purchase a paid quiz, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Game session data. Player names, answers, and scores during a live game, and a device-generated session identifier used to reconnect you to a game in progress.
Usage and device data. Standard web analytics (pages viewed, referring links, browser/device type) collected via Google Analytics and PostHog, and advertising measurement events (e.g. page views, checkout starts, purchases) collected via the Meta Pixel when you arrive from a Meta/Instagram ad.

How we use this information

To operate the Service — create, host, and join live quizzes.
To send you a quiz join link or receipt, when requested.
To process payments for paid quizzes.
To understand how the Service is used and improve it.
To measure the performance of our advertising.
To secure the Service against abuse (e.g. via Firebase App Check).

Who we share it with

We share data with the service providers that help us run Quivvi, and only for the purposes above: Stripe (payments), Google Firebase (data storage and app security), Google Analytics and PostHog (product analytics), and Meta (advertising measurement). We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser’s local session storage to keep you connected to a game you’ve joined, and cookies/pixels from the analytics and advertising providers listed above.

Data retention

We keep game and quiz data for as long as needed to provide the Service, and account/email records for as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law.

Children’s privacy

Quivvi is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

To ask what data we hold about you, or to request deletion, email quivvi_social@stormflows.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
